Trojans v Basford United

Fa Cup Preliminary Round:

Staveley MW v Basford United

The dream is over for another year as the Trojans exited the Fa Cup after a spirited 1-0 defeated at home to Evostick League outfit Basford United. The men from Nottingham took the lead when Liam Hearn netted after twenty eight minutes and despite giving it everything Staveley just couldn’t quite take one of the numerous chances they created.

Good luck to Basford n the next round.

The supporters bus is heading to Church View Road and will be departing from the Inkersall Road carpark at 5:45pm on Wednesday 23rd and is priced at £7, and as usual if you want to book your place send an email to or join the “trojans away travel” page on facebook
